Turck Products

Connectivity - With the industry's broadest line of industrial connectors, cables and cordsets products, The Turck product line can meet virtually any need. Micro Connectors are designed for smaller applications to connect lower voltage DC sensors to Junction Box’s and Control Networks. Mini Connectors are suitable for AC applications with higher current capacity. Power Connectors can be used for Motors and Power Distribution in the field. All Connectors come with a wide variety of Tees, both Single Ended and Double Ended configurations. Intelligent fieldbus stations, with built-in multiplexing electronics, interface with PLC’s from Siemens or Rockwell on their industrial networks. These fieldbus stations provide diagnostics, short circuit protection, automatic baud rate detection, and are completely node addressable.

Sensors - With over 13000 sensor variations it is easy to see Turck can realize any sensing application. Proximity Sensors use induction sensing technology to sense ferrous metals in industrial applications as well as cylinder position sensing. Capacitive Sensors utilize capacitive sensing technology to sense non-ferrous materials in processing and material handling applications. Flow Sensors can detect flowing through existing piping for process applications. Inclinometer Sensors determine angles of machinery or product to solve unique positioning and material handling applications. Level Sensors can determine tank product levels for process and batch control applications. Pressure Control Sensors and Temperature Control Sensors sense process variable to provide feedback in process control or flow applications. Ultrasonic Sensors utilize generated sound waves to determine presence or distance for a wide variety of automation control industries. Intrinsically Safe Sensors and barriers are used in explosive environments to provide safe sensing technology.

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) – RFID products consist of an RFID tag and an RFID reader. Turck offers a complete offering of this technology that is used in a wide variety of automation and material handling industries. The tags can be pre- programmed or programmed on the fly with part numbers, series codes, quality data, or production data as needed. These tags are then read by industrial RFID sensors to route product, read QC data, or provide control feedback to control systems. Tags are available in a wide range of configurations depending on environmental concerns and the amount of data to be stored and read. Readers come in different packages depending on reading speed and distance required.

Linear Displacement Trasducer (LDT) Sensors – Linear position can be sensed utilizing magnetic sensing technology. These sensors can be used in automation, material handling and machine control applications. Various packages and configurations are available depending on travel distances, speed, and environmental considerations.

Encoders – Optical Encoders can be used to determine rotary positions. These Encoders are typically mounted on motors, robots, or machine shafts to determine rotary position. This position information is used to provide feedback in a positioning and control application.
